Two Weeks Until Nominations Close

There is now just two weeks remaining to submit nominations for the 2027 BJS Award – an international recognition celebrating the individuals whose discoveries, innovations, or scientific studies have transformed surgical practice and improved patient care worldwide.

The nomination window closes on 26 June 2026.

The BJS Award celebrates excellence in surgical science and recognises a single exceptional individual whose work has had a profound impact on clinical practice.

The winner will receive:

💥 A medal and framed diploma
💥 An invitation to the BJS Award Ceremony and Dinner
💥 The opportunity to host a BJS Academy webinar
💥 International recognition for their impact on patient care
