BJS Academy Newsletter 14
Welcome to the BJS Academy Highlights Newsletter.
October has brought another varied selection of new content to BJS Academy, covering the latest surgical research, clinical
practice and perspectives from across the surgical community.
In this edition, we highlight the EAGLE 2 study exploring the impact of digital training on anastomotic outcomes, alongside the international PartBreCon-Pro study investigating outcomes following partial breast reconstruction. Our Cutting Edge section explores new approaches to improving patient understanding in surgical consultations, while the latest instalment of Presidents Under the Knife examines the surgical history of Lyndon B. Johnson. We also welcome back Dr Paul McCoubrie with another entertaining contribution to his popular View from the Dark Side series.
There is plenty more to explore, including a fresh selection of randomized clinical trial reviews and an opportunity to become a BJS peer reviewer.
We are also pleased to share that our YouTube and Instagram activity has been brought together under BJS, making it easier to discover content from BJS, BJS Open and BJS Academy in one place.
As always, follow us on social media to keep up to date with the latest BJS Academy content, opportunities and events.
Happy reading!
